“Missing monajats”

Bhikhaji M. Adenwalla asks what fascinates English and German scholars to write about our religion ("Missing monajats,” Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, August 2002).
Paul Kriwaczek (who fled to London at the age of two with his parents from Vienna and Nazi persecution) after intensive investigation, feels that behind the sincere dedication to the Koran of Muslim countries like Iran and Afghanistan, lies a belief, never mentioned or admitted to any outsider, that the spirit of Zarathushtra, is still powerful after 1,300 years.
His book In search of Zarathustra, published by Weidenfeld and Nicolson may make very interesting reading to those who are interested in this subject.
