“The regal ranks”
I am surprised that you have not included Admiral Rustom K. Ghandhi in "The regal ranks,” (Parsiana, August 2002). He was governor of Himachal Pradesh after his term as admiral and has had a distinguished past. He was ADC to Lord Mountbatten and was also naval attache in London. If you mention Sam Manekshaw and others it is difficult to understand why you have omitted Admiral Ghandhi.

Since the focus of the article was on the officers presently serving the Armed Forces we were concentrating on obtaining facts on their accomplishments. The article was sourced from different individuals who were knowledgeable on the subject with one of them suggesting we make a passing reference to the earlier decades when Parsis had shone out. The omission of Admiral Ghandhi’s name was due to an oversight. We regret the omission.
