An increase of Rs 6,000 per worker has been demanded by the Mumbai Mazdoor Sabha during negotiations with the Bombay Parsi Punchayet trustees on July 14. The last increment granted in 2012 was Rs 4,500. Another meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 21, 2015. If the talks prove inconclusive a strike may be in the offing.
