A hearing is scheduled in the Prochy Mehta case in the Calcutta High Court on October 27, 2017.

An originating summons was filed by Mehta and her daughter, Sanaya, this February in the Court inquiring if a child of a Parsi mother and non Parsi father can enter the Late E. D. B. Mehta's Zoroastrian Anjuman Atash Adaran in Calcutta.
