A shrine in Bombay
A shrine dedicated to the worship of Behram Yazad was inaugurated on December 4, 2016 by Behram Ardeshir of the Dadysett Charity Trust who cut the ribbon while fellow trustees Veera Choksey did achhu michhu and Mehernosh Humranwalla broke the auspicious coconut.
Housed in a formerly dilapidated strucure adjacent to the Dadysett Atash Behram, now renovated, the shrine has one divo that will burn 24×7.
A jashan was performed before the inauguration with a humbandagi. Later Ervad Darayesh Katrak, secretary of the Trust gave a talk on Behram Yazad and announced that it was the first such shrine in India. There will be a humbandagi at thd shrine every month on Behram roj.
A community dinner followed.
