A baby in Navsari

3 September 2016

The partnership between Jiyo Parsi, World Zoroastrian Organisation Trust Funds (WZO) and D. N. Mehta Sarvajanik Hospital at Navsari has been instrumental in fulfilling the dreams of a young couple living in a village in the interiors of Gujarat, married for 10 years, who were yearning for a child of their own, informs Dinshaw Tamboly, president of WZO.

The young couple celebrated the birth of their first baby (a boy) on July 13, 2016. WZO, in association with the Hospital had evolved a cashless scheme for those who cannot afford to pay upfront for the expensive fertility treatment.

The mother was admitted to the Hospital two months before the delivery date on a gratis basis. Post birth, the mother and son remained at the Hospital for post natal care for 40 days.

The baby boy was born on July 13, 2016.
