Settlement reached between Bombay Parsi Punchayet and Mumbai Mazdoor Sabha

A new settlement signed between the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) and the Mumbai Mazdoor Sabha on August 25, 2016, "provides for sumptuous monetary benefits to the workmen," states an email received from Dhunji Naterwalla, general secretary of the Sabha.

The note accompanying the email states: "The entire process of negotiations was carried out in an understanding and amicable manner ... a very good settlement was signed for a period of 3 years, i.e. from 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2017."
