StanC's first woman CEO

Veteran Indian banker Zarin Daruwala has been appointed as the first woman chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank (StanC) for India.

The Bank has suffered financial losses in India due to rising bad loans. Daruwala was head of ICICI Bank's wholesale banking vertical, states The Economic Times (ET) of November 18, 2015.

"First I will be looking at the systems, process and people,” Daruwala told ET. A resident of the Mancherji Joshi Parsi Colony in Dadar she has spoken at several community meets.
