Eighth Youth Congress call

Registration for the Eighth World Zoroastrian Youth Congress (8WZYC) in London from July 21 to 26, 2023 opens on November 18, 2022, announced the Congress website www.8wzyc.com. "Please register your interest below… and secure your place” urged the website. The age restriction for the registrants being 18 to 37 years, only those born between July 21, 1986 and July 21, 2005 will be permitted to participate.

"The vision for the 8WZYC is to help build lasting connections among the youth by enabling delegates to engage with global initiatives, hear from a range of inspiring speakers and become active participants in meaningful conversations on the future of our community. The organizers have developed a schedule of speaker sessions, interactive plenaries and engaging workshops so that all participants may have an educative and memorable experience at the Congress. There will be discussions on topics such as human rights, Zoroastrian health, creative arts and environmental sustainability, amongst others,” mentions the website.
Registration is fully inclusive of accommodation for the duration of the Congress [with a choice of triple room sharing for £ 550 (Rs 52,667); double room, early bird £ 600 (Rs 57,454), regular rate £ 670 (Rs 64,159); twin room, early bird £ 650 (Rs 62,243), regular rate £ 720 (Rs 68,946); single room £ 850 (Rs 81,394)], all the activities and events during the Congress, snacks and meals for applicable days, transportation (not including airport shuttle service), merchandise, specifies the website.
"To ensure the 8WZYC is accessible and inclusive, it is essential that the event is affordable for delegates of all backgrounds. Achieving this goal, requires the financial contributions and in-kind support of Zoroastrians across the world and we would be greatly appreciative of all the support one can give, no matter how small or large,” urge the organizers.
