Subscribers’ comments
Subscribers’ views on Parsiana/the community as expressed on the subscription renewal form are published. Unless another name is affixed to the remarks, Parsiana assumes they are written by the subscriber.
Of late I find Parsiana being received late, much after others get it. Could you please check as to the late delivery?

All inland issues are posted together on either 7 or 8, and 21 or 22 of each month. Since registered newspapers avail of concessional postage rates, they may not get as high a priority as first class mail. However some subscribers receive copies the next day and others after weeks. In certain parts of Poona and Gurgaon (near Delhi) copies are not received regularly and subscribers opt for courier delivery which comes at a higher cost.
All copies to foreign subscribers are posted a few days later as franking the higher postage takes time.

After my earlier comments, I have found Parsiana has become more balanced, expressing views that are traditional, advanced and contemporary in equal measure. All international publications maintain an unbiased approach without the editors or proprietors giving their personal likes or dislikes. So be it and so keep it. YEZDI P. F. PANTHAKI
The editors reply
We thank Ervad Panthaki for the compliment. Parsiana has always striven to present both sides of a story. Sometimes our coverage of those fighting for their individual liberties and rights may be perceived as anti-traditionalist but that is not our intention. We believe in live and let live. The publication’s editorial preferences are by and large confined to the Editorial Viewpoint page.

Post retirement, Parsiana is the only magazine which has kept my interest in my community alive and readable.

You need to be more candid. Views of the younger generation must be encouraged. If our religion is to prosper, it needs to be more convenient to follow. Rituals and dogmas need to be done away with.
