No hidden agenda

On April 27, 2018, Bombay resident, 77-year-old Noshir Dubash was able to realize the fulfillment of a long-held dream: to write a book. A celebratory, well attended launch of The Pink Dupatta — a novel about a simple village girl who wins a scholarship, becomes a lawyer and meets the man of her dreams — was held at Bombay’s Café Mockingbird (the name of the venue says it all — for book-lovers Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird is surely a favorite of many). The chief guest was assistant commissioner of police, Naval Driver.
The book launch started with an introduction by Dr Kashmira Pagdiwalla, former professor of psychology at Sophia College, Bombay and then St Xavier’s College Ahmedabad.

According to her, "The book, The Pink Dupatta is a reflection of Noshir’s simple living and his kind warm heart that holds malice towards none. As you read the book you will get a subtle peek into the author’s mind that is open, clear and with no hidden agenda. Although Noshir’s formal education has been in the fields of economics and law and management, a part of his heart always hovered in the literary world. His liking for literature has finally culminated in this beautiful book.”
