Keeping guiding going

The Young Zoroastrian Society manages under its umbrella, The 16th East Bombay Bharat Scout Troop — established on August 1, 1920 and The 71st East Bombay Bharat Guide Company established on August 1, 1993.
These groups are managed by a valiant band of volunteers who train these guides and scouts to be physically, morally and spiritually strong and to step out into the world as knowledgeable and skillful adults. Through picnics, educational visits, hikes, etc and through camps and tours the values of discipline, character building, patriotism, social welfare and faith in God are inculcated. The skills which these scouts and guides acquire are used in their personal lives and for the betterment of their family and community. Very many of our children, have earned the highest honor bestowed by the Bharat Scouts and Guides Association.

Our Girl Guide Group (pictured), the only Zoroastrian girl guide group, will celebrate its 25th year by putting up a grand concert on June 9, 2018 at Sophia Bhabha Auditorium where our children will have an opportunity to showcase their talent and build up their confidence. We would also like to reach out to our ex scouts and guides who are scattered all around the globe.
In order to sustain our activities, we need to raise funds. Cheques in the name of "The Young Zoroastrian Society” may be sent C/o Dara Mehta, 2003 Hilla Towers, Lalbaug,Bombay 400012, mob: 9821133986. All donations are exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
