Alumnae feted

Two noted alumnae of Queen Mary School were felicitated by the School for their achievements: photographer, scriptwriter and filmmaker, Sooni Taraporevala, who has been awarded the Padma Shri, and sportsperson Khurshid Mistry who is the first from the School to be mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. She had participated in the Satara Hill Ultra marathon which merited an entry for having the most number of people running up a single mountain and won the race in her age category on September 6, 2015.

At the felicitation on October 30, 2015 Mahakhurshid Byramjee, president of the Queen Marian Association handed over tributes to the duo while citations were read out by former principal Rati Wadia who sent a write-up on the event to Parsiana.
