Erratum
In the item "Prayer Hall rules” (Events and Personalities, Parsiana, January 7, 2016) the full name of the coordinator, Ervad Framroze Mirza, was inadvertently not mentioned. A peeved Mirza telephoned Parsiana and delivered a harangue on the omission. He refused to accept an admission that it was a mistake and when asked whether he ever made mistakes, he categorically replied, "No.”
When a text message was sent to him stating that his name with priestly prefix and designation is correctly mentioned in the Milestones column of every issue of Parsiana, he retorted, "When you print my name it should be Ervad Framroze Mirza and not Mirza. This is not the first-time that you have disgraced me. In the next issue you should apologize for such unmoralistic behavior of Parsiana for a mobed (sic).”
When Parsiana replied stating "Keep your ego in check, then you’ll be okay,” Mirza shot back: "This is not my ego. This is my self-respect. You may be the media but you have no right to address anyone in a disgraceful manner (sic).”
Parsiana regrets the omission but doubts Mirza will do the same for his outbursts.
