“Empowered in the emirate”

With reference to "Empowered in the emirate” ("Diversity in Dubai – II,” Parsiana, February 7, 2015), I would like to reiterate that at its peak, manufacturing in China contributed as much as eight percent to its GDP (gross domestic product) growth. India’s exports have grown only five to six percent recently after attaining over 20% average in the earlier four years. India’s marketing has become more aggressive and it is now able to compete with China in some sectors. India is the largest exporter of gems and jewelry, over $50 billion per annum, totaling 15% of exports.
Tata Motors’ owned Jaguar Land Rover is doing exceedingly well. Some Members of Parliament in the UK have complimented Tatas as being among the best and largest foreign employers in UK.
