“Non-Parsi believers…”
I have read "Non-Parsi believers are on the rise” by Berjis Desai (Bawa Musings, Parsiana, October 21, 2014) and it is heartening to know that there are a few non-Parsi believers; but I guess that is true of all religions. There are many Parsis who go to temples, churches and mosques. Have we thought of how many will enter out of love and faith and how many will do so out of curiosity if and when the doors of agiaries are opened to non-Parsis?
Perhaps the children of Parsis who marry outside the faith will come tagging along with their mothers when young. But will they still come when they grow up? Should we really feel happy to think of a future where our progeny will say I am one-fourth or one-eighth Parsi?
