Errata

In "A marriage of minds” (Editorial Viewpoint, Parsiana, February 21, 2011) Mithoo Jesia’s surname was misspelt as Jessia.

In "Atash kadeh in Azarbaijan” (Parsiana, March 7, 2011) the photograph on page 72 next to the sketch of the reconstructed fire altar was mistakenly captioned as "Baku’s tower” instead of "fire altar near the Maiden’s tower.”

In "Pioneer pilot” (Parsiana, March 7, 2011) the subhead should have read "From humble beginnings Behramji Damania became one of India’s committed engineers who could afford aviation as a hobby.”

In the In Memoriam column devoted to the late Eruch Desai ("Firm and fair,” Parsiana, March 7, 2011) S. K. Birla’s name was mistakenly coupled with Kumaramangalam Birla’s mother Rajashree. Kumaramangalam’s father was the late Aditya Birla.

In "The texture of text” (Parsiana, March 21, 2011) Banoo Batliboi’s maiden surname has been inadvertently mentioned as Cama instead of Gheyara.

In "The Federation in isolation” (Par-siana, April 7, 2011) we inadvertently mentioned that Neemuch (in Madhya Pradesh) does not have an agiary. Ervad Rohinton Karanjia informs us Neemuch has a dadgah and he has been the panthaky of the fire temple for over 25 years.

Parsiana regrets the errors.
