“Money with ownership”

An alumnus of Dadar’s The J. B. Vachha High School before graduating in commerce from the University of Toronto, Niloufer is a chartered accountant who articled with the international accounting firm KPMG. Having worked for Celestica, a contract manufacturer for high technology industry which was acquired by Onex Corporation, a venture capital concern, she says she learnt the value of stock options early in life. "I don’t think I’d work for a company without stock options. You can only build money with ownership,” she notes. Married to Mehernosh Bhesania, the couple have their own business — a firm dealing in brokerage and distribution of industrial chemicals which they import and sell to bulk consumers.
