“Moving to the Internet”

"I have been with MTV for ten years now. Although I love the brand, I think it’s time for a change. I am moving to the Internet as it is set to be the next boom,” said Cyrus Oshidar as he prepared to join Games2Win, the online contest and entertainment portal, reported The Economic Times of December 14, 2006. Oshidar, known to have been instrumental in developing a uniquely Indian identity for the channel, is the latest highly placed executive to leave MTV India, where he was senior vice president, creative and content. He will continue his assocition with them, taking on special projects like multi-media advertisement campaigns, Oshidar informed Parsiana.

Cyrus Oshidar: racing ahead

For three days a week Oshidar will be with Games2Win, the casual online games site. CT Racer, its car racing game can be played at a cyber cafe or at home, pitted against a player anywhere in the world. Participants can talk to each other while playing, Oshidar explained. He will also be working on projects with animation companies such as US-based Future Thought and consultant to Viacom Brand Solutions, the media planning and brand solutions company where Oshidar will be building a team to provide advertising solutions to clients.
