Calcutta club’s centenary
The Parsi Amateur Dramatic Club of Calcutta which will be completing its centenary this year and features in the Limca Book of Records for its unbroken record of annual drama festivals, put on the boards a comedy, Baddhi Mohkaan Mahra Tehmul Ni, written by Dorab Mehta and directed by Cyrus Madan last year. The cast included talents like Kaizad Gherda, Ashtad Medhora, N. Batlivala, Hema Shah, Dolly Bannerji and Calcutta’s Parsi Girl Guides. Guitar expert Cyrus Tata composed the accompanying music.
The Club welcomes enthusiastic audiences without any charge, all revenue being raised from the brochure and welfare fund, reveals its press release.
