Zoroastrians Abroad
FBRN vice chair Mistry
The Faith Based Regeneration Network (FBRN) of the United Kingdom has elected former president of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (ZTFE) Dorab Mistry as its first vice chair, notes an e-mail from ZTFE secretary Malcolm Deboo. The FBRN-UK, the leading national multi-faith network in the UK for community development and regeneration, was established in 2002 under the auspices of the then Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. The Network links community practitioners for sharing and developing good practice and capacity building and also aims to provide a link between community and policy at local and national government levels, writes Deboo. Mistry, who is the Zoroastrian trustee on the body, was elected by his fellow trustees using a secret ballot at their meeting on October 9, 2006.
