Handy reference book
Shiavux Mistry, senior practising chartered accountant and author of over a dozen books on taxation and finance, is perhaps the first Parsi Zoroastrian from Bombay to receive the prestigious Rashtriya Sanman Award conferred by the National Education and Human Resource Development Organization of New Delhi, notes a press release issued by the Maharashtra Association for Education (MAE) (Gurukul Bhavan, Samarth Nagar, Aurangabad-431001). The award was presented at a function held in Bombay on August 30, 2006.

Mistry’s book, Correct Usage of Everyday Words, Phrases and Expressions, published by MAE, took 10 years to compile with the help of 36 standard publications in English as well as research from other authoritative sources, states the write-up. This word-phrase-power companion will serve as a handy mini dictionary, glossary, thesaurus and guide and would be an asset in every school, college, office, home and library.
