The readout attributed to Mehlli Bhagalia in the Readers' Forum col­umn (Parsiana, June 21, 2006) reads: "The nahan purificatory ceremony with nirang (which is not possible outside India or Pakistan) negate any marriage ceremony of Parsi Zoroas­trians in foreign lands." It should ac­tually read: "The absence of the nahan purificatory ceremony with nirang (which is not possible outside India and Pakistan) negate any marriage ceremony of Parsi Zoroastrians in for­eign lands."
