A stamp of Naval Tata

2004 marked the birth centenaries of J. R. D. Tata and Naval Tata and the death centenary of Jamsetji Tata.

Whilst the Government of India had, in the past, issued special commemorative postal stamps in honor of Jamsetji Tata, the founder and J. R. D. Tata, the father of civil aviation in the country, it would be befitting if the central government comes out with a special commemorative postal stamp to honor Naval Hormusji Tata, the father of the Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata.

Naval Tata was India’s representative at the International Labour Organizaton (ILO) for many years. He was the president of the Indian Hockey Federation and a member of many government and non-government bodies.
