“The Nagpur incident”
I thought the Nagpur incident was behind us, but I thought wrong! Here comes another letter in Parsiana (Readers’ Forum, March 2004), which justifies the use of the word "bastard” for children with one Parsi parent. The reason: it’s a word found in the dictionary, so it’s permissible.
I have a four-letter world starting with F#+* and this too has a place in The Little Oxford Dictionary, fifth edition, page 234, meaning copulate (with) act of copulation. So does this justify its use?
The most important aspect we seem to miss. The tenets of our Zoroastrian religion are based on ‘good thought, good word, good deed.’ How then can a man of God (dharampita) have the license to use such derogatory words?
