“Aimai’s Star”

I share S. J. Irani’s regret over the closure of Aimai Ghamat’s Star Bakery on Naigaum Cross Road ("Aimai’s Star,” Readers’ Forum, Parsia­na, August 2003). During my school days my favorite was cream balls.

The place is now occupied by United Western Bank, Dadar East Branch, on the first floor and by several garment and other shops on the ground floor.
