In the item "Mody and HK University” (Zoroastrians Abroad, June 2001) Parsiana implied that the Incorporated Trustees of the Zoroastrian Charity Funds of Hong Kong, Canton and Macau have let the memo­ry of Sir Hormusjee Navrojee Mody, the philanthropic founder-donor of Hong Kong University, recede with time. The information, based on a private e-mail from Jimmy Master, though correct when he wrote it last year, was no longer valid by the time of publication as the Trustees had, by then, reached an agreement with the HK University for a new bust of Mody, cast at their expense, to be placed in the foyer of the new building.

Parsiana regrets the faux pas.
